Staff Sergeant Christopher Piper Memorial Scholarship
On June 16, 2005, at the age of 43, Staff Sergeant Christopher Piper died from injuries sustained on the battlefield in the country of Afghanistan. Staff Sergeant Piper played football at Marblehead High School and later went on to coach Marblehead Pop Warner. Loyal and dedicated to creating a free society throughout the world, Staff Sergeant Piper ( a American true hero ) sacrificed his life for the goodness of others.
