1] Q: Can I pre-register using my credit card?
A: Yes, you can pre-register on PayPal's secure servers using most popular credit cards.

2] Q: Can I pay by credit card at the door on the days of the Clinic?
A: Unfortuantely, we do not have a dedicated phone line at the Holiday Inn to allow credit card transactions to occur. You can pay by check, school purchase order, or cash.

3] Q: Are there discounts available for coaches?
A: There are discounts available for Youth coaches only if the Youth or Pop Warner program is registering a minimum of eight coaches from the same program. Click on the Fee link for information on the discounts available. Fees

4] Q: How does MasterSports raise funds for their memorial scholarships?
A: MasterSports predominately relies upon the fees paid to attend the annual Football Coaches Clinic and upon the Booth sponsorships.

The clinic provides typically 80-90% of the funds used to award scholarships.

MasterSports also uses funds from donations and memberships.

5] Q: Does MasterSports have a criteria that must be met in order for a scholarship recipient to receive his/her scholarship?
A: MasterSports has a definitive criteria, for more information: Click here to view MasterSports Memorial Scholarship © Criteria. Click here again to close the box.

6] Q: Do attendees at the Clinic have to attend the lunch?
A: No, the Lunch program is optional, but it is a fun way to cap off the clinic experience. MasterSports will do everything it can to hold the cost of the lunch as low as possible and yet provide excellent food and entertainment.

In fact, the cost of the Lunch has not increased in five years. Additionally, at the Lunch MasterSports presents a number of awards to individuals that have distinguished themselves by their expertise and service to the game of football in this region.

7] Q: What kind of amenities are available at the Holiday Inn Select?
A: The Holiday Inn Select in Woburn has undergone significant improvements over the past couple of years including a new pool, exercise center, and an excellent full-service restaurant and sports pub. The Hotel has completed major renovations on their rooms.

8] Q: I am fairly new to coaching Youth football. I notice you have some college and Pro coaches speaking, will the topics be over my head?
A: MasterSports tries to service coaches across the various levels of coaching from Youth to College. As with any clinic serving that broad base of coaching knowledge and experience there will be some topics that are more advanced. However, there will be several sessions designed specificlly for Youth coaches and the Technique track is geared to discuss football at a more fundamental level.

MasterSports always selects coaches that discuss topics about football schemes, techniques, and fundamentals and not speak only about what their program does, so called "clinic speak".

9] Q: If I have to miss the first evening of the clinic can I still register on Saturday morning?
A: Yes, the registration desk is manned throughout the clinic. It is not uncommon, with work commitments, for some coaches to register on Saturday.

10] Q: Does the football player I nominate have to attend a college to be eligible for a MasterSports Scholarship?
A: There are several reasons that would allow a scholarship to be granted to a football player that is not matriculating at a college or university. These are: awards to youth players, high school underclassmen, or to high school graduates pursuing a trade or skilled career path outside the traditional college or university education system (i.e. plumbers, electrician, computer technicians, etc).

In cases where the recipient is not of age to pursue post-secondary education the award is made to the parent(s) or guardian(s) of the recipient to be used for educational purposes (tuition, books, school fees, lab fees, etc) when the recipient comes of age.

11] Q: What does the term 501(c)(3) mean?
A: The designation 501(c)(3) is an IRS term meaning an American Tax-Exempt organization. In this case the designation indicates MasterSports is a charitable organization. The 501(c)(3) designation applies to Religious, Educational, Charitable, Scientific, Literary, Testing for Public Safety, to Foster National or International Amateur Sports Competition, or Prevention of Cruelty to Children or Animals Organizations
