Mission Statement
MasterSports Inc. is steadfastly focused on promoting the great game of football while giving back to our communities. Our mission is two-fold:
- Provide deserving college, high school, and youth football players with MasterSports Memorial Scholarships© in the name of fallen football players and coaches. Since our inception we have awarded $113,500 in scholarships.
- Provide exceptional instruction through our annual Coaches Clinic. We select quality speakers from among professional, college, and high school coaches. The criteria used for their selection is primarily based on their ability to teach you sound football fundamentals, schemes, and techniques. We actively and strongly discourage the practice of dwelling on what an individual football program may do. This is so called, "clinic speak", and does not easily lend itself to enhancing the knowledge of the football coaching profession.
The MasterSports Board of Directors pledges its time, energies, and efforts to make your football clinic experience the finest anywhere. We strive to accomplish this goal by creating a relaxing professional atmosphere, recruiting exceptional speakers, and delivering a great value for your clinic dollar in these times of tightening budgets.
Our motivation to continue to be the best and deliver an unmatched clinic experience is simple. We want to raise as much money as we can for scholarships. Giving something back to our communities is the overarching passion shared by the members of the Board of Directors. It is the basis for our existence as a corporation.
MasterSports is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) recognized charitable organization. All proceeds, after expenses, raised through our various operations (clinic, sponsors, membership, and individual donations) are awarded as scholarships.
The MasterSports Board of Directors welcomes you to the 2012 Football Coaches Clinic. From our modest beginnings with three scholarships in 2000, we've been fortunate enough to award scholarships to 136 young men. On behalf of the Board of Directors, and those 136 young men, we thank you most sincerely for your attendance and support now and throughout this past decade.
