MasterSports Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

Memorial Scholarship recipients that will matriculate at a College, University, or post-secondary Trade/Union/Technical School will be required to prove their good standing at the educational institution they are attending.  Proof of good standing at their institution shall include the following:

1)Cumulative Grade Point Average:

a) First semester freshmen students participating in an approved varsity or sub-varsity sport (inter-murals are excluded from this definition) shall maintain a 1.8 cumulative grade point average.
b) First semester freshmen students not participating in an approved varsity or sub-varsity sports (inter-murals are included in this definition) shall maintain a 2.0 cumulative grade point average.
c) Upper classmen students shall maintain a 2.0 cumulative grade point average.
d) All scholarship recipients must submit their first semester grades to MasterSports no later than March 1 of the year they receive their scholarship notification.
e) If a scholarship recipient is pursuing post-secondary training at a Trade/Union school they must submit proof of hours accumulated no later than March 1 of the year they receive their scholarship notification.

2)All scholarship recipients must submit their second semester tuition bill to prove continued matriculation at their college or university.

3)All scholarship recipients must demonstrate outstanding citizenship and represent themselves, their family, community, school and MasterSports properly.
